With our Mild Steel Joist stock range we have the grades and sizes you want ready for immediate dispatch. We also carry specialist products, non-standard sizes and offer our quick turnaround shot blasting and primer painting as well as our quick turnaround cutting service to both our commercial and domestic customers. Other complementary services such as section bending and mitre cutting are also available upon request.

All our Mild Steel Joists are available cut to size.

Mild Steel Joists:

Generally available in 6.100 to 6.400 Metre lengths, although in certain sizes other lengths are available; commonly in Grade 43A. The larger size in the description of the Joist will be the length of it's Web and the smaller size the length of its Flange. For your information Kg/m refers to the Kilograms per Metre of the bar, as an example a 4.200 Metre length of 102 x 44 x 7mm Joist (7.50 Kg/m) would weigh (4.2 x 7.50) 31.50 Kg's Total.
